WPCA-FM radio, 93.1 FM. 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2025. WPCA-FM has been good enough to broadcast my story readings the first Tuesday night of each month. Few writers enjoy such a privilege and I am grateful. I never know which story will be broadcast–there are 27 stories recorded by the station–and they are not archived. If you are beyond the broadcast range of the station’s Amery location, you can receive it on your computer online.
Tomorrow, January 8th, 2025, I will be reading short selections from Marina’s book Gretel and Andy, God’s Gift; The Lives of Two Seeing Eye Dogs at the Osceola Senior Center at 12 Noon. People who missed the book’s debut party in October asked for a re-run and Marina is complying. Since Marina’s vision loss does not allow her to read, I’ll do that task while she will take questions and, I’m sure, will speak a bit about her dogs and the tasks they do for someone who’s blind. She speaks very well and does it without notes. It should be fun!
