Coming Readings

Now –broadcast of my interview with Dr.Bunny Vreeland, Mercury Broadcasting internet radio.  This program is archived and available for listening.

Tuesday, June 4, 2019 – 7:00 p.m. -WPCA-FM. I’ll be reading a story from the book,   “The First Gathering of The Break Time Stories” or my second paperback, “The Second Gathering of The Break Time Stories”. This is  another broadcast of  monthly story readings on the first Tuesday of each month. The broadcasts are streamed online, so anyone with a computer and online capability  can listen anywhere in the world. Go to WPCAradio.org and the website will take you from there. My readings will happen each month until I run out of stories to be shared. This is a rare opportunity for any writer and I am honored to be able to share my stories. The broadcasts are not archived.

Friday, JUNE 7, 2019-Classic Theatre, Amery, Wisconsin – 7:00 p.m. I will be joined in this fundraiser for the theatre’s purchase and roof repair by several other writers: Peter (“Wok and Roll”) Kwong, renowned chef and columnist; Lois Joy Hoffman, author, adventurer, photographer, circumnavigator; Dan Ghirtz, educator and writer of history; LaMoine MacLaughlin, Amery’s first poet laureate and Executive Director of Amery’s Northern Lakes Center for the Arts; and Randy Dean.  This could be  fun evening, so come on out and join us!

Friday, June 14, 2019-Festival Theatre, St.Croix Falls, Wisconsin-7:30 p.m. I will be reading several stories from both paperbacks and probably some yet to be published. We shall see. This is a repeat with all ticket proceeds going to help fund Festival Theatre. I’ve asked LaMoine MacLaughlin, Amery’s first poet laureate, to join me again for the evening, as I believe it’s better  for an audience to hear more than one voice during an evening of readings. Tickets for this benefit are $10, so c’mon out, enjoy some stories and good poetry and help support a worthy theatre enterprise in this region.
